Advice? 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I'm 16 years old, 155 lbs, I put up 185 on the bench, run a 13 second 100M and 7 second 55M. My PR for the shot is 36.5 ft on some lucky Saturday. Im pretty small, actually the smallest thrower on my team, yet Im 4th varsity spot, going up against 3 other seniors who are much bigger and stronger than me, yet, one of them throws only about a foot further and the other, a pretty big kid, 550 lb squat, 320 bench, throws only 40 ft. I wouldn't call my glide technique perfect, but better than average. I was looking for some advice as to what I should focus on, might that be getting more throws in, lifting alot more, or trying to get faster. Appreciate any and all criticism/advice. Thanks.

In my opinion faster and better technique are the best ways to go. Some of use are not geneticly able to put up big numbers but we may be supper fast. Look at Powell throw, she looks tiny but man is she fast and has great technique.
